Conga CPQ pricing: what is published, what is not, and how to compare a quote

Conga does not publish a list price for Conga CPQ (formerly Apttus); its product page asks you to contact sales. Third-party listings circulate starting figures, but they are not vendor-confirmed and we do not repeat them. What is public: the ten-package structure, the separate TurboPricing and TurboConfig licences, and an SI-led implementation model. Compare any quote you receive against the two published prices: Kugamon at $65 and Revenue Cloud at $150–$200 per user per month.

Why we do not quote a number

Several third-party review sites publish a “starting at” figure for Conga CPQ. None is vendor-confirmed, they disagree with each other, and a starting figure without the packages, engines and services attached is not a price. Repeating one would be less accurate than saying “not published”, so we say that. The same rule applies to DealHub and Nue — see the methodology.

How to compare a Conga quote

  1. Separate licence from services

Ask for the per-user licence, the implementation services, and any TurboEngines licence as three lines. A single bundled number hides the recurring part.

  2. Ask where pricing will compute in two years

If the roadmap is TurboPricing, the licence line grows and the org stops being the whole system.

  3. Count the packages you actually use

CLM, Composer, Sign and Approvals are separate products. Price only what you need; the ten-package install is the CPQ baseline.

  4. Put it next to the published prices

Kugamon publishes $65 (CPQ) to $125 (Subscription Billing) per user per month and a fixed $15,000–$30,000 implementation set by the edition. Salesforce publishes $150–$200 for Revenue Cloud. The calculator models all three over three years.

The estimate our calculator uses, and why

To draw a chart at all, the ROI calculator needs a Conga number. It uses $150 per user per month licence, $150,000 implementation and $45,000 per year admin for a 50-user deployment — a labeled estimate based on ecosystem benchmarks, shown hatched in every chart. Replace it with your actual quote; the point of the estimate is to make the comparison possible, not to stand in for Conga’s price.

Conga does not publish a list price; every deal is quoted (conga.com). Third-party listings publish starting figures that are not vendor-confirmed, so we do not repeat them. For comparison, Kugamon publishes $65–$125 per user per month (AppExchange) and Salesforce publishes $150–$200 for Revenue Cloud (Salesforce).

No. Conga’s documentation says TurboPricing and TurboConfig each require a licence and that you should contact your account executive to obtain one (Conga docs).

They are the same product under one owner since 2020 (Thoma Bravo); there is one price list, and it is not published. Background: Conga vs Apttus.
