The architecture

DealHub is the system of record. Salesforce receives a copy.

Your Salesforce org versus DealHub platform DealHub runs outside the Salesforce org and syncs quotes into it. Your Salesforce orgSynced copy of each quoteOpportunities & AccountsStandard Products (for sync)DealHub platformQuotes & DealRoomsCatalog & pricing rulesSubscription & usage billingDealHub admin consolesync
Figure 1. DealHub’s strength — one quoting layer across Salesforce, HubSpot and Dynamics — is also its cost for a Salesforce-only team: the authoritative quote lives outside the org.

For reporting and Agentforce this means the org holds the synced copy, not the source. For administration it means a second console. For leaving it means exporting from DealHub first. The five-question test is the fastest way to see where that matters to you.
