Customer story

Johnson & Johnson Health & WellnessMultiple companies, one Salesforce org, one order-to-payment process.

Several companies share one Salesforce org at Johnson & Johnson Health & Wellness, and each needs its own invoices, payment methods and security access. Their AppExchange review, reproduced in full below, describes Kugamon carrying that through ordering, shipping, invoicing and payment. The 93% decrease in shipping errors is a figure they published themselves.

93%
decrease in shipping errors (customer-published)

Johnson & Johnson Health & Wellness runs multiple companies inside a single Salesforce org, and each one needs its own invoices, payment methods and security access. Their AppExchange review describes Kugamon handling all of that through ordering, shipping, invoicing and payment. The 93% decrease in shipping errors is a figure they published; nothing on this page was added by Kugamon.

Who they are

Everything here comes from what Johnson & Johnson Health & Wellness has published. In their own words, the group "includes multiple companies in one SFDC org": several businesses sharing one Salesforce instance, with sales and operations staff working across what they call "a complex org and product structure". That is the whole of what they have said about themselves in this context, and it is all this page relies on.

What they needed

One org, several companies, and each company with its own way of billing and being paid. The review names the specifics: unique invoices, unique payment methods and unique security access for each company. The requirement was to keep all of that manageable for the people running orders, shipments, invoices and payments, without splitting into separate orgs or bolting on separate tools.

What they run in Salesforce

The process they describe, ordering to shipping to invoicing to payment, is the Lead-to-Bill workflow in Kugamon's Quote to Cash edition. The Order is released, Shipments are created for tangible products, Invoices are generated on the account's schedule, and payment is taken against the invoice through the configured payment methods. Every one of those is a Salesforce record in their org. Separate invoice formats, payment methods and access rights are configured, not coded, which is the "configurability" the review credits.

In their words

Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness includes multiple companies in one SFDC org. Kugamon was able to meet the unique needs of each including unique invoices, payment methods, security access, etc. Kugamon's configurability allows us to make a complex org and product structure manageable for our sales and operations staff thru the ordering, shipping, invoicing and payment process. Kugamon's support, with their quick response and innovative solutions, always meet the business challenges we bring to the table. Kugamon rocks!

What they report

  • 93% decrease in shipping errors. Published by Johnson & Johnson Health & Wellness. The figure is theirs: Kugamon has not measured, rounded or extrapolated it, and it does not appear in the AppExchange review above.
  • Unique invoices, payment methods and security access for each company in one org. From the review above.
  • A complex org and product structure kept manageable for sales and operations staff. From the review above.
  • Support with "quick response and innovative solutions". From the review above.

If you run more than one business unit in a single Salesforce org and need each to invoice and collect its own way, the Quote to Cash edition page shows the pieces, and the reviews page has every other AppExchange review, verbatim.

No. It is the customer's own published statement; Kugamon does not add, adjust or infer figures. It is not part of the AppExchange review quoted on this page, which is why the two are attributed separately.

Johnson & Johnson Health & Wellness says Kugamon met "the unique needs of each including unique invoices, payment methods, security access, etc." through its configurability. They have not published the specifics of their setup, and this page does not guess at them. In general, Kugamon's invoice templates, payment methods and access rights are configured in Salesforce rather than coded, which is what lets one org serve several businesses.

The process the review describes — ordering, shipping, invoicing and payment — is the scope of the Quote to Cash edition: CPQ plus billing. The customer has not published which edition or add-ons they license, so this page does not state it.
